Been doing some research today, only a little mind you. Looking into various city photographers for one of my assignments. I have a couple of them now, to report. I am rather glad that I can cross reference them for two of my subjects. It's a great insentive to actually get something done.
I have some inspiration for one of the assignments, the Colour in the Everyday one. I am hoping to do an industrial sort of thing. Take pictures of things that we see everday, and possibly even use. And we take for granted, and pass them by. These objects have colour, obviously. Things like fire extiguishers, chairs etc.
For the other one, I am not so sure. It's called "The City." And, it's such a broad title, it's not easy to know what to do for it. Though, again, I have found a couple of photographers. Richard I'anson and Julian Nieman.

Pop Quiz, Hot Shot...
I feel really tired today for some reason, got a it of a headache as well.
Not been in long from my second lecture, which seemed to be generally going through what we will be doing and the Unit Handbook. Seems like a good subject though. More creative, which is great.
Not much else to report today, took a couple of photographs for the Intro to Photo subject, I have a couple of idea's for it, but nothing solid yet. Will spend a bitof time doing some research in a little bit me thinks.
It's Karens birthday today, I got her a card and a little something, but can't afford too much. Embarked on a SL business with Kitten again, just a little coffee shop. Will have to see how it goes, hopefully we can get enough visitors and everything so it'll pay for itself?
We shall have to see.

So here we are
Well, it's been a bit of an odd summer. After leaving work I had hoped to be able to find another job, but I ended up in University instead. All part of the plan I assure myself.
I am at Lincoln University, studying photography. And, here is my blog of updates, info, things and stuff.
My flat mates are fun, getting on with them well. Or so I think. Hope the year carries on like this. I wil certainly make the down parts a little more up!
I got my first assignment today. At my first lecture which is a little daunting in it's own right, but I am cracking on with it the second I stop writting this. It's all about "Colour in the everyday." It will be a fun assignment, I think. And, will involve going out and taking random pictures. It should be a nice break into the world again, after being away for what feel like a long time.
Last night I went out with Mark (Flat mate) and helped with his assignment. The batteries on his camera ran out, and he asked me to go with him. He left his assignment a bit late, so going out at night to take pictures was really fun. I had a really good time! And I think it is something I shall do again, with a cable release this time, I forgot to take mine last night.
It still feels strange to be away from home, and I am hoping to call the parents tonight sometime. Though the cooking experience has been quite fun and I've only burnt my sausages once so far! Always a bonus.
